CBC/Radio-Canada supporters marched 200 kilometers from Montreal to Ottawa to demand better funding and guaranteed independence for public broadcasting.

Marchers met passionate CBC supporters in communities along the way. In Ottawa, where 200 supporters joined the rally, the marchers presented CBC/Radio-Canada charter to MPs on Parliament Hil.

The Charter includes similar demands as those CMG has been fighting for over the past two years to make CBC strong again.

The march was one of the many ways people across Canada have shown their support for CBC during this election.
