The Canadian Media Guild (CMG) and CBC/Radio-Canada have agreed to a 1.5% increase of basic salary for  the year 2022-2023. The increase is effective April 1, 2022, and applies to permanent, temporary, contract and freelance workers. This increase will be reflected on your April 21, 2022 pay stub.

This is in accordance with the 2019 collective bargaining agreement stipulating that wage increases are linked to increases of the funding of the Corporation by the Treasury Board.

New salary scales will be posted as soon as they are made available.
