All of us CMG members at Zoomer Media would like to take this opportunity to salute the Master Control Operators who, for years, were the backbone of our Bargaining Unit at S-Vox and then Zoomer. We thank you for your support and encouragement over the years and wish you all the best in your future projects. We will miss you and your dedication to making sure the programs got to air seamlessly.
 
All members at Zoomer should be reassured that our union is still here for us, whether it’s strategizing on how to speak with a manager, gaining access to training, or anything else related to life at work.

Bargaining a new collective agreement is top of mind for all of us this year. Due to the transitional nature of the media industry, we want to wait until August of this year to conduct bargaining in the hope that 2017 will be a better year for Zoomer. Hopefully we will be able to get an agreement that works for everyone and recognizes the work we continue to do in all capacities.
