There is a vacancy on the Consultative Committee on Staff Benefits (CCSB), the joint union-management committee that oversees CBC’s pension and benefits plans. The CMG is looking to fill this position by mid-February. The new CCSB member will also be trained to sit as a trustee on the pension board beginning in 2010 and should be prepared to serve two terms, of three years each, on that board.

The CCSB generally meets four times per year in Ottawa for two days each time. In addition, the CCSB has sub-committees that may require additional time commitments. Pre-requisites for the role are listed in the full description.
