The Guild branch executive at CP/BN has unanimously endorsed Craig Wong (CP/BN Vancouver) as the union’s pension trustee to replace Sandra Cordon, who has resigned from the company. With his background as a business reporter and strong understanding of matters financial, Craig brings a valuable set of skills and attributes to the position. Craig joins Scott Edmonds (CP/BN Winnipeg) on the board of trustees. (National Guild staff rep Kathy Viner attends all meetings and provides logistical, technical and administrative support to our trustees).

I want to thank those Guild members who expressed an interest in the position. It’s always highly gratifying when people demonstrate their willingness to serve their colleagues.

Finally, a last word of thanks to Sandra, who has served the Guild in several capacities over many years, including as a pension trustee. She’ll be sorely missed.
