Employees at K-100, Big John and CFBC have been trying to negotiate a first collective agreement with Halifax-based MBS Radio since last summer. Unfortunately we have made little progress toward a fair deal that includes livable wages and working hours and respect for employees.
Please send a message to MBS owner Robert Pace and urge him to negotiate a settlement with us.
We have two more days of talks scheduled this month – June 18 and 19 – and we hope to break the logjam and come to an agreement. If not, a work stoppage is very likely.
We are asking listeners in Saint John to send a message to MBS owner Robert Pace to urge him to hammer out a deal with us and avoid a strike or lockout. Please take action today: .
We are committed to our community and to bringing the people of Saint John the quality radio programming they deserve.
