CMG members at CBC/Radio-Canada are invited to a virtual town hall to discuss the Night Differential Premium which was settled through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the CMG and the CBC last year.

The MOA sets out rates of compensation for certain Transmission Services technologists who are  assigned weekly to work in remote areas, or who were previously assigned weekly to work in remote areas from 2007 until 2021.

For the duration of the current collective agreement, Article 67 applies to eligible technologists scheduled between the hours of midnight and 7 a.m.; however, as per the CA, weekly-assigned employees must obtain managerial approval to work between the hours of midnight and 7a.m.

CMG CBC/Radio-Canada Branch President Kim Trynacity, along with CMG staff representative Olivier Desharnais-Roy will be in attendance to take your questions.
