Steelworkers in Saint John for an education conference took time to picket with the seven radio employees who’ve been on strike for over 15 months seeking a fair deal from their employer, MBS Radio.
Representatives from CUPE, Unifor, ILSA as well the the New-Brunswick Federation of Labour and the Saint John District Labour Council also joined the rally.
On behalf of the Saint John 7, Gary Stachouse the CMG president at MBS Radio in Saint John thanked everyone for their support. “Without the support not only of our own union CMG, and the general support of the union movement in Saint John and in Canada, we would not have been able to sustain such a fight.”
