We now have some details about the Shaw pension plan and we need your help.  We are calling out for volunteers who would like to be our point person on everything regarding the pension plan.

Here are some of the things we would like the volunteer to do:

-Be interested in the way the Shaw plan operates, read up on the plan, find out about current trends in pensions in the country, learn something about pension legislation, and generally become our Branch’s expert on pensions.

-Direct members to the appropriate financial advisors for any questions regarding the plan.

-Attend meetings as required to ensure that all fiduciary and regulatory responsibilities regarding pensions are being met.
