Applications are now being accepted for two CWA Canada scholarships for post-secondary education or training.  All Canadian Media Guild (CMG) members and their family members are eligible to apply for the grants of  $1,000 each.  CMG’s parent union, CWA-Canada, is proud to offer these scholarships.

Applicants must write an essay, or submit an audio, video or other presentation (maximum five minutes), on one of the following topics:

– Why the Labour movement is important to Canadians today

– What social justice means and how we can achieve it.

CWA-Canada members as well as their children, grand-children, nieces, nephews, spouse or partner are eligible. Applicants must be entering a full-time program at a government-recognized institution (college, CEGEP, university or technical/vocational institute), and all programs are accepted.

Please submit your application by Friday, March 11, 2022.
