The Canadian Media Guild will provide a subsidy to one member to attend Input 2012, a conference of public television producers and programmers from around the world, which is taking place May 7-11 in Sydney, Australia. To learn more about the convention, go to http://www.inputsydney.com/ .
The winner will be reimbursed for the full costs of transportation and basic (exhibits) registration for the conference. Winners are responsible for making their own arrangements for travel, accommodation and release from work (if necessary). The winner should book their transportation through CMG’s travel agent.
To enter your name in the lottery, please complete our online form here. To be eligible for the draw, you must also provide proof of registration to the conference by e-mailing to guylaine@cmg.ca or faxing to 416-591-7278. The deadline for entries is Monday, April 2, 2012 at 5 pm ET.
After the conference, the winner will be asked to write a brief report for the Guild’s National Executive Committee. Members who have received a similar subsidy from the Guild in the past two years, or whose attendance at the conference is being funded by their employer, are not eligible.
