Our collective agreement with CBC/Radio-Canada is up for renewal, and negotiations for a new contract between the Canadian Media Guild (CMG) members and the Corporation are set to begin in September.
To help prepare our union for this round of bargaining, your CMG negotiating team has developed a survey to collect members’ ideas, concerns and priorities. Please take a few moments to complete the online bargaining survey by Tuesday, June 26 – and encourage your co-workers to do so as well!
Members’ input will be vital in helping to achieve our goals as workers and for the important work we do at the public broadcaster. So, look for ways to remain engaged throughout the bargaining process at your locations and with the bargaining committee’s initiatives.
About this round of negotiations
We have prepared a poster for all our workplaces to encourage everyone to fill out the bargaining survey by the deadline of June 26. The poster also has information on your bargaining committee members – Contact us throughout this round of negotiations at: http://www.cmg.ca/en/contact-our-cbc-bargaining-committee/
