After two days of conciliation talks with Shaw management with the assistance of federal conciliation officer Jennifer Webster, we can report that good progress has been made. We’ve been able to overcome some of the obstacles we had been facing, and we’re now down to the short strokes.

Our next face-to-face meetings are scheduled for July 18 and 19. Both sides have committed to keep the lines of communication open, since we may be able to make some further progress before the July dates.

Please remember to attend one of our membership meetings on Tuesday July 5. They’re being held at St. Andrew’s United Church (next door to 121 Bloor) at noon and 5 pm.
