Guild members to vote on tentative agreement at end of January

The Canadian Media Guild will hold a ratification vote at the end of January on the tentative agreement reached with CBC last weekend. The vote will follow membership meetings with members of the bargaining committee in most CBC locations between January 12 and 25. The deal will be retroactive to January 1.

Highlights of the deal will be sent out to members on Thursday. The full memorandum of agreement is currently being collated and translated and will be available in January.

Watch for information on a mid-January meeting in your location. Members in very small locations will have the opportunity to participate in a conference call with members of the bargaining committee.
