The results of yesterday’s vote for members of the editorial unit of the Canadian Media Guild at APTN are as follows:

Votes were cast from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm Eastern time on Tuesday, February 13. The ballots were counted by CMG staff Glenn Seymour and Keith Maskell.

Number of eligible voters: 24
Votes cast: 21
Yes: 10: (47.6%)
No: 11: (52.4%)

The vote fails and the offer is rejected.

The Guild’s bargaining committee will communicate these results and discuss next steps with the federal conciliators as well as with the employer.
