The results of yesterday’s vote for editorial members of the CMG at APTN are as follows:

Votes were cast from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm Eastern on Thursday January 25. The ballots were counted by CMG staff Glenn Seymour and Keith Maskell.

Number of eligible voters: 23
Votes cast: 21
Yes: 10 (47.6%)
No: 10 (47.6%)
Spoiled ballots: 1 (4.8%)

The vote fails and the offer is rejected.

The Guild bargaining will meet early next week to consider our options. The federal conciliators and APTN management have been informed of the results of the vote.
