Your CMG bargaining team has been working hard to get a first collective agreement with S?VOX management. We have reached agreement in principle on approximately thirty articles, dealing with issues such as how people are hired, assuring employees have opportunities to develop their skills, eliminating harassment and discrimination in the workplace, and giving employees a say in the administration of benefits plans.
Since the beginning of 2007, we have increased the frequency of our negotiating sessions, and we hope to have a complete deal soon. We are now discussing key monetary issues including overtime, annual vacation, job classifications and salaries.
Once we have a full tentative agreement, you will have the opportunity to read it and ask any questions before voting to ratify the deal.
