Your CMG bargaining committee is very pleased to announce that we have reached agreement in principle with the S-VOX bargaining team for a first collective agreement.
The three-year-plus deal calls for across-the-board salary increases of 6% in the first year and 3% in each of the following two years. In addition, S-VOX will make RRSP contributions of up to 6% of salary on every employee’s behalf each year, without requiring the employee to match the contribution.
Over the next three years, the union and management will re-examine and re-evaluate all job classifications within the bargaining unit to ensure that salaries are realistic and properly reflect the value of the work the employees are called upon to do.
There are also improvements to annual vacations and personal absence or “floating” days, and clearer rules around posting of vacancies, hiring and scheduling.
