CMG Convention 2014: proposed bylaw amendments and resolutions

Under the CMG’s bylaws, any proposed amendments to the bylaws must be received at the Guild office no later than 60 days prior to the convention, which is taking place in Toronto May 23-25. As of the deadline a total of six proposals have come forward. Three general resolutions have also been proposed.

The deadline has now passed to propose bylaw amendments.

Resolutions will be accepted up until the convention, and can even be made from the convention floor. If you would like to direct the Guild to take a specific position on an issue or undertake a particular project, you can submit a resolution by clicking here and using our handy form.

For members in the CBC branch: only one amendment to the branch bylaws has been proposed. You can read it by clicking here.

For any questions about resolutions or bylaws, please contact Keith Maskell at keith@cmg.ca
