CMG members have elected five delegates to represent the union at the upcoming CWA Convention / Union Meetings.
The elected candidates will join National President, Carmel Smyth, to represent the views of media workers in Canada – they are, in alphabetical order:

The online vote was held from Friday, August 27 at 9 a.m. ET to Tuesday, August 31 at midnight ET.

These delegates from five (5) CMG branches will represent CMG at the NewsGuild-CWA Sector Conference in October, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Convention in October, and the CWA Canada National Representative Council meeting in April.
The term ends December 31, 2022.
