Fellow Members,

We, the newly elected Branch Executive Comittee, would like to take this opportunity to thank both Marie Lofranco and Cecilia Konney for putting their names forth for election. Both the commitment of becoming a nominee and running in the election prove to all members the level of commitment from you both, and I hope you will continue to contribute to the union movement here at S?VOX. We would also like to thank all of the members for taking the time to vote, and we look forward to the challenging years ahead, holding management responsible for their decisions and to the employees.

In the coming days and months, we will begin making the union here at S?VOX more inclusive of everyone. We will be asking for volunteers to become department stewards, in effect creating a web of communication so that information can be properly channeled to members. Also, we will be holding a membership meeting with you all in the near future to find out how you want your union to be run, and of course to discuss with you the recent events here at S-Vox and discussing the next steps.
