Call for nominations: Freelance Branch by-election

As a result of the departure of Don Genova, a position has come available on the Canadian Media Guild’s Freelance Branch executive council.

Nominations are now being accepted for the position of Freelance Branch President. The successful candidate will serve until the end of the current term in December 2007.

Nominations will close at 5 pm ET on Monday, November 6. The election, if necessary, will be held during the week of November 27.

Candidates must have a nominator and two (2) seconders, all of whom must be members in good standing of the CMG, i.e. they must have signed a Guild membership application card and be currently paying dues.
