A group of members has independently organized a debate between the two candidates for president of the Canadian Media Guild.

As you know, the election is being held December 1-5.

Kamala Rao and Carmel Smyth have agreed to a 30-minute debate.  It will be livestreamed on Facebook Live on the ‘CMG Members for a Presidential Debate’ group. Just do a search on Facebook for it, and ask to join the group any time.   Questions for the two candidates are being accepted on the above-mentioned Facebook group until Monday November 28 at 9 p.m. ET – in English and French. 

Five questions will be selected for the candidates’ live English debate, which is taking place on Tuesday, November 29 at 7 p.m. ET.
