Debora Grant-Barkun has been elected as the Canadian Media Guild’s new Director of Human Rights and Equity in the by-election held November 5 – 6.

With 220 ballots cast, Debora obtained 142 votes (64.5%), and Jann Shreve received 78 votes (35.5%).

Debora is elected to serve as our union’s National Director of Human Rights and Equity for the current term which ends in December 2022.

Congratulations to both candidates and all CMG members who participated in the by-election.
