Human rights position open on Guild executive

Run for a position on the CMG’s branch executive

At the end of 2005, the post of director of human rights/diversity/equity on the CBC branch executive became vacant with the departure of Wendy Forbes.

Any CMG member working at the CBC is eligible for this position. Its purpose is to advance human rights at the Corporation and in the Guild. Nominations are open until 5pm (ET) on Tuesday February 21. Click here to download a nomination form: http://www.cmg.ca/nominationformENFR.doc . Be sure to get signatures from two colleagues who are Guild members.

The executive holds a small number of in-person meetings, usually held in Toronto, and approximately eight conference call meetings per year. The person who is elected to this position will also attend the Guild’s national convention in Calgary, from April 28 to 30.
