Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training session for all CMG elected members

This 1:30-hour virtual session is entitled: Understanding Power Dynamics. It will be hosted by CMG in partnership with MESH/diversity, and led by Dr. Leeno Karumanchery, Co-Founder & Chief Diversity Officer at MESH/diversity. 

We will learn why experiences of discrimination are fundamentally different than experiences of social oppression and why, and how, inclusive leadership plays a vital role in developing high performance cultures where all people can thrive.

Background information:
A motion passed on March 10, 2021 requires that “The National Executive Committee offer one anti-racism/unconscious bias training session each year. This course would be offered to all members holding elected positions and attendance would be mandatory each term.”
