Ce premier communiqu\u00e9 propose des conseils sur les meilleures pratiques \u00e0 appliquer lorsqu&rsquo;un employ\u00e9 explore l&rsquo;univers des m\u00e9dias sociaux. Les communiqu\u00e9s subs\u00e9quents se pencheront notamment sur les enjeux propres aux employ\u00e9s de la r\u00e9daction qui utilisent les r\u00e9seaux sociaux dans le cadre de leur travail, mais aussi pour leur propre compte et en leur propre nom; des conseils destin\u00e9s aux employ\u00e9s en ondes et connus; ainsi que d&rsquo;autres visant les travailleurs autonomes dans le domaine des m\u00e9dias.<\/p>\n<p>En tant qu&#8217;employ\u00e9, vous avez des obligations envers votre employeur qui ne s&rsquo;appliquent pas uniquement lorsque vous \u00eates \u00e0 votre lieu de travail. En contrepartie, il est certes dans votre int\u00e9r\u00eat de maintenir le plus possible une vie priv\u00e9e distincte de votre vie professionnelle. <\/p>\n<p>Voici quelques conseils \u00e0 suivre lorsque vous publiez du contenu sur les m\u00e9dias sociaux que vous privil\u00e9giez (conseils qui s&rsquo;appliquent aussi lorsque vous fr\u00e9quentez ces sites \u00e0 titre personnel, \u00e0 partir de votre domicile et en utilisant votre propre compte ) :<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ne dites jamais du mal de votre employeur ou de vos coll\u00e8gues. Le BC Labour Relations Board a r\u00e9cemment conclu que le \u00ab\u00a0jardin emmur\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb que constitue Facebook n&rsquo;est pas du domaine priv\u00e9. Tout ce que vous publiez sur Facebook ou Twitter est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant du domaine public, et ce, m\u00eame si le contenu est publi\u00e9 entre amis. Vous pouvez faire l&rsquo;objet de mesures disciplinaires si vous publiez des commentaires qui semblent avoir un impact n\u00e9gatif sur votre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 effectuer votre travail (p. ex., \u00ab\u00a0Impossible pour moi de travailler avec cet imb\u00e9cile\u00a0\u00bb, ou encore \u00ab\u00a0Je suis mort d&rsquo;ennui\/fatigu\u00e9\/endormi\/frustr\u00e9 par mon emploi\u00a0\u00bb). Inutile de pr\u00e9tendre qu&rsquo;il ne s&rsquo;agissait que d&rsquo;une blague \u2014 le Web n&rsquo;a que faire de l&rsquo;ironie. Cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9 s&rsquo;applique \u00e0 Twitter comme \u00e0 n&rsquo;importe quel autre site.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \u00c9vitez de devenir \u00ab\u00a0ami Facebook\u00a0\u00bb avec votre patron. La Guilde vous recommande d&rsquo;\u00e9viter d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir un tel lien d&rsquo;amiti\u00e9 avec votre superviseur et\/ou directeur sur Facebook. Vous n&rsquo;\u00eates pas des amis \u2014 vous \u00eates dans une relation de pouvoir sup\u00e9rieur-subordonn\u00e9. Il n&rsquo;est ni n\u00e9cessaire, ni avis\u00e9 de fournir des d\u00e9tails sur votre vie priv\u00e9e \u00e0 votre sup\u00e9rieur en temps r\u00e9el. Si Facebook s&rsquo;av\u00e8re important \u00e0 votre \u00e9quipe de travail, alors cr\u00e9ez un compte Facebook pour le travail.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; N&rsquo;indiquez pas le nom de votre employeur sur votre page Facebook ou Twitter personnelle, ou encore sur votre blogue. Certes une autre strat\u00e9gie visant \u00e0 \u00e9viter de brouiller les cartes entre vie professionnelle et vie priv\u00e9e. Vous \u00eates du m\u00eame coup assur\u00e9 d&rsquo;une certaine protection contre toute \u00e9ventuelle affirmation \u00e0 l&rsquo;effet que vous exploitez votre employeur pour votre propre b\u00e9n\u00e9fice.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Vous pouvez d\u00e9noncer les comportements contraires \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9thique, mais ne le faites pas sur Twitter (ou tout autre site). Critiquer publiquement votre employeur est certes risqu\u00e9. En vertu de la loi, vous lui devez respect et loyaut\u00e9. Si une situation au travail vous pr\u00e9occupe, faites-en part \u00e0 votre repr\u00e9sentant syndical, qui vous aidera \u00e0 trouver une solution. Si la fa\u00e7on don\u2019t votre employeur g\u00e8re une certaine situation vous d\u00e9range, \u00e9vitez de vous d\u00e9fouler en ligne.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ne publiez aucun renseignement sur votre employeur qui ne soit pas d\u00e9j\u00e0 du domaine public. Si les annonces publiques ne font pas partie de vos t\u00e2ches, n&rsquo;en faites pas. Le fait de d\u00e9voiler des renseignements exclusifs risque de vous attirer des ennuis.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Votre ordinateur au travail appartient \u00e0 votre employeur. Ne supposez pas que tout ce que vous faites avec cet ordinateur (ou tout dispositif mobile) demeure priv\u00e9, et ce, m\u00eame si vous avez recours \u00e0 un compte priv\u00e9 non reli\u00e9 \u00e0 votre travail. Cet \u00e9quipement appartient \u00e0 l&rsquo;entreprise qui vous embauche, et celle-ci a le droit de v\u00e9rifier l&rsquo;usage que vous en faites (\u00e0 la CBC\/Radio-Canada, la convention collective stipule que les employ\u00e9s peuvent s&rsquo;attendre \u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;on respecte leur droit \u00e0 la vie priv\u00e9e et qu&rsquo;on leur permette de travailler dans un environnement sans surveillance, \u00e0 moins que la direction \u00e9voque des raisons l\u00e9gitimes pour vous surveiller).<\/p>\n<p>Vous n&rsquo;avez pas trouv\u00e9 r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 vos questions?
