Un grand nombre d\u2019entre vous nous ont dit que la \u00ab contribution \u00bb additionnelle (ou r\u00e9duction salariale) revendiqu\u00e9e par la direction est inacceptable. Plusieurs parmi vous ont aussi envoy\u00e9 ce message directement \u00e0 Eric Morrison. Bien que votre comit\u00e9 de n\u00e9gociation continuera \u00e0 travailler vigoureusement en votre nom, il est important de faire parvenir directement vos commentaires sur le sujet aux cadres sup\u00e9rieurs.<\/p>\n<p>Tel que communiqu\u00e9 auparavant, le comit\u00e9 employ\u00e9-employeur a entam\u00e9 un projet ambitieux, voire m\u00eame \u00e0 la fine pointe. Rappelons que la PC\/NTR existe dans un environnement dynamique, o\u00f9 la concurrence et les d\u00e9fis sont \u00e9normes. Afin de bien r\u00e9ussir, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a besoin d\u2019une politique dynamique au niveau des ressources humaines. Cela se traduit par l\u2019embauche d\u2019employ\u00e9s qui ont la capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9ussir et pour ensuite les former, les mettre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve et les affecter de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 assurer leur r\u00e9ussite. C\u2019est un projet complexe et \u00e0 long terme qui nous demandera, en partie, de naviguer en territoire inconnu. Nous vous demanderons toutefois votre avis \u00e0 chaque \u00e9tape et les repr\u00e9sentants de la Guilde ne concluront aucune entente sans que vous soyez d\u2019accord.<\/p>\n<p>Nous attendons \u00e9galement des nouvelles au sujet de la participation de la Guilde en ce qui a trait \u00e0 la planification strat\u00e9gique annonc\u00e9e auparavant par \u00c9ric. Ce processus tentera de d\u00e9velopper un plan \u00e0 long terme en concertation avec les propri\u00e9taires et les clients de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Si nous voulons \u00eatre efficaces en tant qu\u2019organisation, il est \u00e9vident que nous devons savoir o\u00f9 nous nous dirigeons afin de s\u2019y rendre de la meilleure mani\u00e8re possible.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, j\u2019aimerais saluer nos coll\u00e8gues de CBC\/Radio-Canada qui ont v\u00e9cu un lock-out amer avant de se pr\u00e9valoir d\u2019un bon contrat. Leur comit\u00e9 de n\u00e9gociation, sous la direction du pr\u00e9sident de la sous-section, Arnold Amber, m\u00e9rite tous nos \u00e9loges, ayant r\u00e9sist\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u2019\u00e9normes pressions. Les employ\u00e9s de la GCM ont aussi tr\u00e8s bien r\u00e9ussi malgr\u00e9 des conditions difficiles. En fin de compte, ce sont les membres qui ont persist\u00e9, gard\u00e9 leur courage et leur d\u00e9termination, et m\u00eame r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser de la programmation de grande qualit\u00e9 \u00e0 la radio et sur l\u2019internet tandis qu\u2019ils \u00e9taient au piquet. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une victoire d\u00e9cisive face \u00e0 des man\u0153uvres reprochables qui eurent un r\u00e9sultat contraire pour ses auteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut aussi noter que le lock-out a affect\u00e9 les finances de la Guilde, malgr\u00e9 que celle-ci a bien tenu le coup. Le comit\u00e9 national des finances examine actuellement de quelle fa\u00e7on redresser la situation financi\u00e8re de la Guilde pour que celle-ci puisse subsister \u00e0 n\u2019importe quelle crise. Des compressions au niveau des d\u00e9penses discr\u00e9tionnaires et un petit pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement de droits syndicaux \u00e0 court terme sont parmi les options envisag\u00e9es. Peu importe la d\u00e9cision finale, les leaders syndicaux s\u2019engagent \u00e0 maintenir le niveau \u00e9lev\u00e9 de service auquel vous vous attendez.<\/p>\n<p>Rappelez-vous : Selon le r\u00e8glement de la GCM, les \u00e9lections des unit\u00e9s locales doivent avoir lieu d\u2019ici la fin du mois de f\u00e9vrier. Si vous avez d\u00e9j\u00e0 song\u00e9 \u00e0 vous impliquer aupr\u00e8s de la Guilde et de vos coll\u00e8gues, soit en vous pr\u00e9sentant aux \u00e9lections ou en participant \u00e0 un comit\u00e9 mixte, vous en avez maintenant l\u2019occasion. Veuillez communiquer avec un membre du conseil ex\u00e9cutif pour en conna\u00eetre davantage au sujet des diff\u00e9rents postes. Nous vivons \u00e0 une \u00e9poque int\u00e9ressante et l\u2019adage \u00ab la combinaison d\u2019un grand nombre de bras (et de cerveaux) r\u00e9duira la charge de travail de tous et chacun \u00bb est plus qu\u2019appropri\u00e9.
