Comme vous le savez d\u00e9j\u00e0, nous utilisons le mod\u00e8le de la \u00ab\u00a0n\u00e9gociation raisonn\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb. C&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire que les deux camps n&rsquo;arrivent pas \u00e0 la table avec des tas de propositions d\u00e9taill\u00e9es; on essaie plut\u00f4t d&rsquo;identifier les besoins et les int\u00e9r\u00eats qui sont partag\u00e9s par les employ\u00e9s et l&#8217;employeur.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a eu des rencontres dans les unit\u00e9s locales \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du pays avant le d\u00e9but des n\u00e9gociations, pour avoir une id\u00e9e des besoins et des attentes des membres face \u00e0 cette ronde de n\u00e9gos. Le stress du travail et les exigences toujours en croissance sont les enjeux les plus importants. Ce sont ces points, parmi les autres points soulev\u00e9s dans les diff\u00e9rentes localit\u00e9s, que nous voudrons mettre sur la table.<\/p>\n<p>Certaines de nos pr\u00e9occupations sont partag\u00e9es par la direction. Tout le monde reconna\u00eet que nous travaillons plus fort que jamais et il y a beaucoup de pression sur La Presse Canadienne. Nous avons toutefois dit haut et fort que les attentes et les demandes ne peuvent pas continuer \u00e0 cro\u00eetre. La nouvelle technologie &#8211; mentionnons \u00e0 titre l&rsquo;exemple le fameux BlackBerry &#8211; peut apporter de nouveaux outils, mais elle peut \u00e9galement cr\u00e9er de nouveaux probl\u00e8mes pour les employ\u00e9s qui sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 s\u00e9rieusement surmen\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons des suggestions qui, \u00e0 notre avis, pourraient aider \u00e0 att\u00e9nuer le niveau de stress, tout en reconnaissant que l&#8217;employeur n&rsquo;a pas des tonnes d&rsquo;argent et que l&rsquo;avenir m\u00eame de l&rsquo;entreprise est en jeu. Nous avons discut\u00e9 de l&rsquo;importance de d\u00e9terminer quels genres de t\u00e2ches doivent continuer, quelles t\u00e2ches peuvent \u00eatre \u00e9limin\u00e9es et quelles t\u00e2ches pourraient \u00eatre accomplies autrement. Il faut trouver le moyen d&rsquo;assurer que les employ\u00e9s soient engag\u00e9s et qu&rsquo;ils se sentent valoris\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Le comit\u00e9 de la direction est compos\u00e9 du chef des RH Paul Woods, le chef du bureau de l&rsquo;Ontario, Wendy McCann, le superviseur du Service \u00e0 la client\u00e8le Joe Sintzel et le conseiller juridique Harvey Beresford.<\/p>\n<p>Nos prochaines rencontres sont pr\u00e9vues pour la premi\u00e8re semaine du mois de f\u00e9vrier; la compagnie doit nous faire une pr\u00e9sentation d\u00e9taill\u00e9e sur la situation financi\u00e8re.
