Au cours d\u2019une r\u00e9union r\u00e9cente, le Comit\u00e9 consultatif sur les avantages sociaux a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de r\u00e9duire de 10 pour cent les primes que paient les employ\u00e9s.  Cette r\u00e9duction devrait se refl\u00e9ter au niveau du dernier ch\u00e8que de paie d\u2019octobre.  Il s\u2019agit de la premi\u00e8re modification des primes depuis que la Great West Life a entrepris de g\u00e9rer les r\u00e9gimes en 2002.  Comme les r\u00e9gimes ont depuis accumul\u00e9 un surplus, il est logique de r\u00e9duire le co\u00fbt de participation des membres tout en conservant une r\u00e9serve permettant de r\u00e9gler les r\u00e9clamations.   <\/p>\n<p>Nous avons \u00e9galement constat\u00e9 une am\u00e9lioration au niveau de l\u2019invalidit\u00e9 de longue dur\u00e9e.  La sant\u00e9 financi\u00e8re du r\u00e9gime s\u2019est graduellement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e, et le CCAS se trouve finalement en mesure d\u2019accorder une prime de vie ch\u00e8re aux membres devenus invalides depuis 2002.   \u00c0 partir d\u2019octobre, les gens qui re\u00e7oivent des prestations d\u2019invalidit\u00e9 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieront d\u2019une augmentation de deux pour cent pour chaque ann\u00e9e de b\u00e9n\u00e9fices.  Par exemple, un employ\u00e9 prestataire d\u2019ILD depuis 2002 recevra une augmentation d\u2019un peu plus de 10 pour cent.  Un membre prestataire depuis 2005 recevra pour sa part quatre pour cent de plus.  L\u2019augmentation n\u2019est pas r\u00e9troactive, mais nous en \u00e9tudions la possibilit\u00e9.  Avant 2002, nous avions un rajustement de vie ch\u00e8re automatique pouvant atteindre deux pour cent par an. Ce rajustement a \u00e9t\u00e9 gel\u00e9 en 2002 parce que le r\u00e9gime d\u2019ILD accusait un d\u00e9ficit. <\/p>\n<p>Nous attendons toujours une r\u00e9ponse formelle de la part de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 au sujet de notre ordre de r\u00e9partir le plus r\u00e9cent surplus entre les membres.  Le CCAS a tenu en juillet une r\u00e9union sp\u00e9ciale pour pr\u00e9parer sa proposition.  La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 dit qu\u2019elle \u00e9tudie la motion, mais des d\u00e9lais ont retard\u00e9 cet \u00e9t\u00e9 la pr\u00e9paration de leur r\u00e9ponse.  CBC\/Radio-Canada dit maintenant qu\u2019elle nous fera parvenir sa r\u00e9ponse au cours des prochaines semaines.  Si vous l\u2019aviez oubli\u00e9, voici ce que le CCAS a ordonn\u00e9 \u00e0 la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de faire avec le surplus de presque 130 millions $ : <\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t12 millions $ \u00e0 verser \u00e0 CBC\/Radio-Canada afin de couvrir les paiements du d\u00e9ficit de solvabilit\u00e9 de 2005 ;<br \/>\n\u2022\t74,24 millions $ \u00e0 distribuer aux membres employ\u00e9s du r\u00e9gime et aux retrait\u00e9s de fa\u00e7on correspondante aux niveaux de contribution ;<br \/>\n\u2022\t44,66 millions $ \u00e0 conserver dans le fonds de pension.<\/p>\n<p>Tous les syndicats de CBC\/Radio-Canada, de m\u00eame que les associations de retrait\u00e9s, continueront d\u2019exercer des pressions afin d\u2019obtenir une r\u00e9partition \u00e9quitable du surplus du r\u00e9gime.  <\/p>\n<p>Au cours de sa r\u00e9cente r\u00e9union, le CCAS a \u00e9galement allong\u00e9 d\u2019un an le mandat du fiduciaire du r\u00e9gime de retraite anglais Jon Soper, et de deux ans celui du fiduciaire fran\u00e7ais
