Nous avons \u00e9tudi\u00e9 notre r\u00e9gime d\u2019invalidit\u00e9 de longue dur\u00e9e, et constat\u00e9 que le nombre d\u2019employ\u00e9s sur le RILD continue d\u2019augmenter.  Au 30 avril 2005, 311 personnes retiraient des prestations du RILD. C\u2019est un record. <\/p>\n<p>Un aussi grand nombre d\u2019employ\u00e9s retirant des prestations ont eu un effet sur la sant\u00e9 financi\u00e8re du r\u00e9gime.  C\u2019est pourquoi le CCAS a autoris\u00e9 une l\u00e9g\u00e8re augmentation des primes. Lorsque nous renouvellerons notre police aupr\u00e8s de la Great West Life, le 1er octobre 2005, les primes des employ\u00e9s augmenteront de 1,6 \u00e0 1,7 pour cent par p\u00e9riode de paie.  Pour un salari\u00e9 qui gagne 50 000$ par an, cette augmentation se traduira par une hausse d\u2019environ 2$ par p\u00e9riode de paie. <\/p>\n<p>D\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9 plus positif, nous allons renouveler notre police optionnelle de d\u00e9c\u00e8s par accident et de mutilation sans augmentation de primes. <\/p>\n<p>Au cours de la r\u00e9union de juin, Steve Cotsman, l\u2019administrateur d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 de la Commission du r\u00e9gime de retraite de la SRC\/CBC, a parl\u00e9 aux membres du rendement du plan l\u2019an dernier, et leur a communiqu\u00e9 les faits saillants des activit\u00e9s de cette ann\u00e9e.  Bien que la sant\u00e9 financi\u00e8re du r\u00e9gime demeure bonne, la faiblesse continue des taux d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats augmente le co\u00fbt des prestations. Cette ann\u00e9e, la Commission passe en revue sa composition de l\u2019actif et ses strat\u00e9gies d\u2019investissement.  \u00c0 la fin de 2005, le r\u00e9gime effectuera son \u00e9valuation r\u00e9guli\u00e8re de trois ans, afin de d\u00e9terminer ce qui devrait en constituer le prochain taux de financement.<\/p>\n<p>Le Conseil de direction de la SRC\/CBC a approuv\u00e9 des modifications au r\u00e9gime de retraite, qui simplifieront les douzaines de conditions actuelles de rachat d\u2019ann\u00e9es d\u2019anciennet\u00e9. \u00c0 partir de janvier 2006, il n\u2019existera qu\u2019une seule m\u00e9thode de rachat des ann\u00e9es d\u2019anciennet\u00e9.  La SRC\/CBC informera les gens de ce changement assez rapidement. En automne, les employ\u00e9s pourront demander un prix pour le rachat d\u2019ann\u00e9es d\u2019anciennet\u00e9 en vertu des dispositions actuelles, et ce qui leur en co\u00fbterait avec la nouvelle approche. Portez une grande attention aux avis :  dans certains cas, le nouveau co\u00fbt \u00ab actuaire \u00bb sera plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que celui de la m\u00e9thode actuelle.  Avec une seule option de rachat disponible, nous avons demand\u00e9 instamment \u00e0 la SRC\/CBC de prolonger le r\u00e9gime afin de permettre aux gens de racheter leur anciennet\u00e9 \u00ab ACTRA \u00bb.  Nous attendons d\u2019ici peu des nouvelles \u00e0 ce sujet.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 mis \u00e0 jour au sujet du REER collectif de la SRC\/CBC.  Bien que 3200 employ\u00e9s de la SRC\/CBC d\u00e9tiennent un compte dans le REER collectif, seuls 300 y participent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement par des retenus salariales \u00e0 la source. Le REER de groupe offre un choix de huit fonds diff\u00e9rents.  Le taux de rendement varie selon le type d\u2019investissement, mais le taux moyen de l\u2019an dernier \u00e9tait d\u2019un petit peu plus de six pour cent.
