Ce grief sera soumis \u00e0 l\u2019arbitrage.  <\/p>\n<p>Tel que mentionn\u00e9 dans un r\u00e9cent communiqu\u00e9, la Guilde a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 en arbitrage le refus de la CBC de verser \u00e0 un membre un salaire r\u00e9troactif, pour la p\u00e9riode pendant laquelle la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a refus\u00e9 de reprendre l\u2019employ\u00e9 au terme de son cong\u00e9 de maladie et d\u2019accommoder son handicap.    <\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 Fredericton, un grief relatif au pourvoi d\u2019un poste d\u2019aiguilleur \/ r\u00e9alisateur par un candidat de l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur du milieu de travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9gl\u00e9. La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablira un fonds de 10 000 dollars pour la formation qui sera disponible \u00e0 l\u2019employ\u00e9 avec le plus d\u2019anciennet\u00e9 \u00e0 Fredericton qui fait face \u00e0 une mise \u00e0 pied et qui veut participer \u00e0 la formation. Cette entente sera en vigueur jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019expiration de la convention collective que l\u2019on n\u00e9gocie actuellement.<\/p>\n<p>Nous vous avons communiqu\u00e9 l\u2019an dernier que la CBC avait suspendu un membre pr\u00e9sentateur pour une faute commise en ondes.  Le grief devait aller en arbitrage. La CBC a finalement c\u00e9d\u00e9, et rembours\u00e9 les trois journ\u00e9es de salaire perdu.  Comme dans tous les cas de r\u00e8glement expos\u00e9s dans ce rapport, la CBC n\u2019a admis avoir commis aucune faute et n\u2019a cr\u00e9\u00e9 aucun pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent.  <\/p>\n<p>La CBC a \u00e9galement accept\u00e9 de r\u00e9gler un grief relatif \u00e0 une promotion, et va promouvoir un membre d\u2019Ottawa au poste d\u2019ing\u00e9nieur aux enregistrements.<\/p>\n<p>Au printemps, CBC a accept\u00e9 de r\u00e9tablir le cong\u00e9 annuel d\u2019un employ\u00e9, parce que le membre s\u2019\u00e9tait fractur\u00e9 un pied pendant ses vacances.  <\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 la suite d\u2019un grief relatif \u00e0 l\u2019emploi des pigistes, la CBC a accept\u00e9 de rappeler \u00e0 ses cadres que les pigistes ne doivent pas \u00eatre charg\u00e9s de fonctions de niveau de soutien, telles qu\u2019adjoint de TV. <\/p>\n<p>Un r\u00e8glement est survenu relativement \u00e0 la seconde pause repas, pendant les joutes de la LNF.  La pratique de repousser ces pauses \u00e0 la fin du quart de travail, avec l\u2019assentiment des int\u00e9ress\u00e9s et du producteur technique, pourra se poursuivre. Dans une telle \u00e9ventualit\u00e9, la CBC fournira une collation pendant le quart.<\/p>\n<p>Nous attendons toujours la d\u00e9cision de l\u2019arbitre Pam Chapman au sujet du grief relatif \u00e0 l\u2019allocation de d\u00e9penses pendant les Jeux olympiques.    <\/p>\n<p>Unit\u00e9 3<\/p>\n<p>Plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e, nous vous avons communiqu\u00e9 que la CBC avait de fa\u00e7on unilat\u00e9rale r\u00e9affect\u00e9 \u00e0 un travail temporaire un membre dont l\u2019emploi avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9clar\u00e9 redondant.  L\u2019employeur avait refus\u00e9 au membre d\u2019exercer son droit \u00e0 un emploi alternatif ou \u00e0 une mise \u00e0 pied.  La CBC l\u2019avait rencontr\u00e9 sans la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un repr\u00e9sentant syndical.  La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a maintenant accept\u00e9 que le membre puisse exercer son droit \u00e0 une mise \u00e0 pied.<\/p>\n<p>Il reste encore plus d\u2019une centaine de griefs en attente au sujet du refus de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019inclure certains emplois dans l\u2019unit\u00e9 de n\u00e9gociation.  La CBC continue de placer ces emplois (surtout en TI et en ventes), qui ne sont ni de supervision ni professionnels, dans l\u2019unit\u00e9 de n\u00e9gociation APS.
