The CBC and the CMG are continuing a series of meetings designed to look for creative and collaborative solutions to ongoing problems and to improve their relationship.
Last week, representatives from senior management and the CBC branch of the Guild examined many of the issues concerning temporary employment. The discussions have been fruitful and a number of ideas will be pursued in the coming weeks in order to develop long term solutions that benefit all parties.
These meetings are the result of a new direction from CBC President Hubert T. Lacroix and CMG/CBC Branch President Marc-Philippe Laurin.
The next meeting is scheduled for the week of July 14, 2008.
