Your Bargaining Committee will be holding membership meetings next Tuesday, April 29 at noon and 5 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church (2nd floor, Grosvenor room) to bring you up to date on our talks with Shaw Media management. Lunch will be served at both meetings.

After the recent lay-offs, we proposed new language this week to make the process more fair and orderly and to improve access to severance. We agreed in principle on a couple of smaller issues this week but remain far apart on salary structure and wage increases.

At the meeting, we can give you more detail on the talks and outline the expected next steps. As you probably know, our agreement expires Wednesday, April 30. However, it remains in effect while we negotiate a new one.
