Call for nominations: Director, Francophone Issues

Nominations are now being accepted for the role of Director, Francophone Issues on our union’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

The successful candidate will be elected to serve until the current term ends on December 31, 2019.

The Francophone Issues Director is elected by all members to ensure that the interests of francophone members of our union are represented on the NEC.

All Canadian Media Guild (CMG) members in good standing are eligible to be nominated for this position. You can read about the duties of National Executive Committee members here.

If you’re interested in running, or in nominating someone else, please click here to download the nomination form. The candidate, nominator and two seconders must all be CMG members in good standing.

The deadline for receipt of completed nomination forms is Monday, November 5, at 5 p.m. E.T.

The dates for any necessary elections will be set following the close of nominations.
