Please join your Bargaining Committee on Tuesday, February 2 at 5 p.m. for a virtual membership meeting. The Zoom link for the meeting has been sent to you in an email.

We will be going over the Memorandum of Agreement with you and answering your questions so that you can make an informed decision about whether or not to accept the terms as your new Collective Agreement.

A link to the memorandum will be sent to you via email prior to the ratification meeting.

Some highlights: The bargaining committee was able to make some monetary gains within the realms of limitations set by provincial government Bill 124, and to negotiate higher protections for precarious workers. We will be detailing the changes during our online session and answering any questions you may have.

For the ratification vote, we will once again run an electronic voting process for members beginning Tuesday, February 2 after our meeting, and ending Thursday, February 4 at 12 noon. We will send you the details next week.
