The members of our union share the pride of Canadian Media Guild (CMG) members at TFO who have been recognized for journalistic excellence.

Bravo to Andréanne Baribeau, Joanne Belluco, Étienne Fortin-Gauthier, Aimé Majeau Beauchamp and Gisèle Quenneville – the ONFR+ team responsible for the web series Les Accent that has won Honourable Mention at the prestigious Hillman Awards Canada.

This journalism award recognizes the best and most significant stories that improve the lives of Canadians. The 5-part series helped start conversations about accents, discrimination, racism and human rights; highlighted available supports; and forced several companies to change their hiring practices.

The Hillman Awards judges seeks out distinct stories that are bold, original and make an impact on improving society for everyone.
