Rides, games and family fun start at the CNE this weekend. You could PAY and go, BUT why not come with us for FREE on Labour Day. You could even win an iPad mini!
Each year, the CMG marches with thousands of unionized workers in the Labour Day parade walking through the downtown West end and finishing at the exhibition.
We do it to celebrate our struggles and achievements fighting for fairness and equality at work and in our communities. It’s especially important this year, as political and economic challenges threaten the gains unionized workers have won through collective action over the years. We want access to the same opportunities, benefits and pensions to continue to be here for our children. So bring your kids and let’s show Toronto that we are union-proud.
Be one of the first 100 to RSVP by August 23 (by emailing us at info@cmg.ca), and you could win an iPad mini (must attend parade to win).
I look forward to seeing you on Sept 2.
