The Canadian Media Guild’s Freelance Branch is inviting freelancers to a get-together on Thursday May 22, 2008 from 4 pm to 6 pm in the Kenora Room of the Sheraton Toronto Hotel on Queen Street West in Toronto. If you’re in the Toronto area, please drop by.

Members of the branch executive will be on hand, as will a number of experienced freelancers and Guild staff representatives. We have also invited CBC producers who deal with freelance content creators, as well as delegates to the CMG’s biennial convention.

This event is a meet-and-greet; there will be no formal presentations. Think of it as an opportunity to meet with other content creators and discuss the realities of freelancing in the Canadian media industry – radio, TV, print and new media.
