Polls are now open for CMG elections (Dec. 5 – Dec. 9)

Canadian Media Guild members across the country can participate in our online vote. The virtual ballot box opened at 9 a.m. ET today, Thursday Dec. 5, and is open continuously until 7 p.m. ET on Monday, December 9. Voting is open to all Guild members in good standing.

-Members in all branches can vote to choose a National Trustee;

-Members working at CBC can also choose a Branch President as well as a Treasurer;

-And members working at specific CBC locations (Ottawa, Toronto and Yellowknife) will  also hold key local votes.

To vote, just visit our website at www.cmg.ca during the voting period and follow the links. You’ll need to know your nine-digit CMG identification number. If you don’t have it or have misplaced it, write to vote@cmg.ca and we’ll get your number to you right away. You can also call the Guild office at 1-800-465-4149 or 416-591-5333 during regular hours (9 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET, Mon-Fri). On December 9, we will have staff on hand to handle any last-minute requests or questions right up until the polls close at 7 p.m.
