Members of the Canadian Media Guild have lost a long-time friend, comrade and fellow activist. Gary Mittelholtz died last Saturday, March 13, while out cross-country skiing with friends.

In addition to being a well-loved and well-respected CBC radio host and reporter in Saint John NB, Gary was also a Guild volunteer and activist. He served as Guild location unit president for many years. We will miss his contributions and his infectious good nature.
