As we approach Canada’s first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, September 30, 2021, CMG is taking a step toward encouraging members to increase understanding of important issues facing Indigenous peoples.

The union encourages all interested members to consider taking a popular seminar on Indigenous histories and contemporary issues from Indigenous perspectives.

The online course at the University of Alberta is free, but the completion certificate is $60.  

The first 20 CMG members to finish the Indigenous Canada course and present their registration to the CMG (info@cmg.ca) will be reimbursed the $60 fee.
