Your union has confirmed with Shaw management that your retroactive pay, lump-sum payment, and new pay rate will be in the July 15 payroll. Once again, if you see a sudden spike in your rate, it’s due to you being one of 50% of the bargaining unit receiving a bump to the next slot on our new classification and pay scales. Everyone else will receive the 1.5% increase.
For those members who are on leave and receiving benefits, the lump-sum payment and retroactivity will be made in full upon their return to work so as not to disrupt any of the benefits they are currently receiving.
