Please join us Tuesday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET for a presentation on the Maintenance and IT compensation review that was conducted by an outside firm based on an agreement between our union and CBC/Radio-Canada which led to the ratification of the 2019-2024 collective agreement.

The study looked at positions in the Broadcast Technology Career Structure (see article 56), as well as Applications Support Specialist and Desktop Support Specialist. We will discuss the union’s assessment of the report and recommendations to management.
As a reminder, the purpose of the review was to identify and make recommendations to address any market condition deficit subject to available funding.

While we’re in discussions with the corporation about the findings, the committee felt it was important to go ahead with our presentation to members and discuss next steps.
