Toronto’s ZoomerMedia announced today that it will buy all of S-VOX’s current broadcast assets, which include VisionTV, One: The Body, Mind and Spirit Channel, and the two Joytv stations in BC and Manitoba. The
deal is still subject to CRTC approval.

The Guild will be meeting with S-VOX management as soon as possible to discuss the deal and what it means for employees. In a note to employees today, S-VOX CEO Bill Roberts stated that ZoomerMedia will honour the
existing collective agreement. As for the CMG, we look forward to building a positive working relationship with ZoomerMedia.
