Your Executive Committee at Alliance Atlantis thought that you, as a fellow CMG member, would appreciate an update on what we’re up to.

So far, we’ve had two official meetings that all members of the Executive were able to attend. Here’s what we’re working on right now:

STEWARDS ? We’ve all been talking to people to find out who would be interested in becoming a steward. So far the response has been great. We should have a list of your new stewards, along with their contact information, posted on the bulletin boards in the near future. If you would like to be a steward and haven’t had a chance to speak to one of us, please do!

UNFAIR LABOUR PRACTICE COMPLAINT ? The Guild is working hard to resolve this issue. Click here for a copy of the original complaint. The company has posted their response on the bulletin boards. This could be a lengthy process and at this point there’s no new information to be shared. We will keep you up to date on any developments on this important issue.

And last but definitely not least:

BARGAINING ? We are currently in the process of writing our first bargaining survey. We plan to have the survey ready for distribution by the end of May. This is a very important step because the survey will tell us what issues are most important to everyone. If you’re interested in helping out with the bargaining process, please contact one of us.
