If you are a CMG volunteer or advocate for workplace improvement, this mental health workshop is for you!
Led by CBC journalist Dave Seglins, advocate for mental health reform within journalism and co-author of a 2022 national study of +1200 Canadian media workers, this 3.5-hour course is designed to help improve health and safety through better understanding of occupational stress within journalism and what our workplaces can do about it.
There is a maximum of 20 members per session, on a first come first served basis, with priority given to CMG volunteers and advocates interested in workplace improvement.
