Steven Greenhouse was a reporter for The New York Times for 31 years, spending his last 19 years there as The Times’ labor and workplace reporter.

The event is sponsored by our parent union, CWA Canada, the country’s only all-media union, and will be moderated the Toronto Star’s labour reporter Sara Mojtehedzadeh.

Arnold Amber was a long-time Guild member, who served as President of the CBC/Radio-Canada Branch. He was the first president of CWA Canada.

The annual event honours Arnold’s accomplishments and contributions as a long-time advocate for social and economic justice, freedom of the press, and responsible, caring and transparent democracy.
