We met with Rob Wright and Mike Russell of Zoomer management yesterday to begin negotiating a renewal of our collective agreement. We received a package of proposals from the management team and outlined the issues that are important to Guild members. We framed these issues under three main themes: improving communication, better work-life balance and sharing in the success of the company.
We have agreed to several small items yesterday. The Guild team is now working on detailed proposals on parental leave and compensation. The two teams will try to schedule another meeting before the end of the year and we will keep you up to date on the developments.
