The CMG bargaining team has reached agreement in principle with TFO management on a new collective agreement. Details of the deal are set out in the memorandum of agreement (Click here to read the full text in
French), and Guild members at TFO will have the opportunity to vote on the agreement; a general meeting and vote will take place shortly. TFO’s board of directors is expected to ratify the deal at a meeting next week.
The three-year deal calls for salary increases of 3% annually, retroactively to October 2007. Employees will also retain three floating vacation days in addition to enjoying the provincial Family Day holiday.
